The Great Smoky Mountains

We took a few days last week and drove over to East Tennessee to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. And guess what....It Snowed!!

It was an absolutely beautiful sight, and we had a wonderful time.
Making the trip even more special, we stayed at The Inn at Christmas Place.

What fun! The Inn features year-round Christmas decor and many amenities making our week one that we will always remember fondly.
Our daughter and her family were with us, and we found good restaurants, visited the crafts community and the Mountain Farm Museum, as well as the aquarium , and of course, we played mini-golf!
And so now we are back in the real world of schedules and laundry--sigh-- and happily dreaming of our next trip to the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

I love the pictures. It sounds like a wonderful time. I live an hour or so from the Smoky Mountains and have never heard of The Inn at Christmas Place - shows you how much I get out. I have been to the aquarium and hope to take my son there soon. He is old enough now to appreciate some of it. I love the new look to your blog. Take care!

Love the snow pics! So pretty. I wanted a big snow all winter-but we never got one-seemed it snowed all around us but just not here.
